Kevin Wood is the author of "Runaway's Railway" and "Runaway's River". He also writes "The Diary of a Sociopathic Vicar", which you can find in the Yorkshire Times, and which is shortly going to be released as a book.
He's a chartered engineer, a musician, a martial artist and does a few other bits and pieces as well, just so he doesn't get bored when he isn't writing.
He lives in North Yorkshire with his wife Hayley (who painted the cover illustrations for "Runaway's Railway" and "Runaway's River", and also drew the map of Sutley for "The Diary of a Sociopathic Vicar"). He has two children who are more-or-less grown up now, three cats and a variable number of ducks and chickens.
Being an Engineer, he likes to make things work and drinks a lot of coffee.
